In Narragansett Pier, the town beach and Narragansett Pier Marketplace are a great combination of ocean views, unique shopping, cafes and restaurants. The Pier Marketplace is a small shopping enclave next to the Aqua Blue Hotel. It includes boutiques and gift shops carrying summer outfits, accessories, ocean themed gifts and R.I. souvenirs. On the other side of the hotel are Warm Winds Surf Shop, and Cool Beans Cafe. The walkable Boon St. area has galleries, Crazy Burger and the Bike Stop Cafe. Taking a stroll along the beach or the sea wall is great for people watching, breathing in the ocean air and listening to the sound of the waves breaking onto the shore. Surfers, boogie boarders and swimmers love the waves too during the summer season. Nearby Wakefield has a historic Main St. with boutiques, fun gift shops and several consignment stores. Narragansett is a beach lover's delight with just the right amount of nearby shopping to fully enjoy your vacation or day trip.
