Love indie book stores? Each April, you can celebrate Independent Bookstore Day by shopping at your local bookstore for special promotions, book signing events and sale items. All year round it's fun to browse in indie bookstores where you can often find recommended reads from the staff. Many Scenic Shopping towns have excellent independent book stores. You can find new, used, rare and special interest books among these sellers. These indies are open year round and also have online stores. They have great service and helpful book sellers.
Due to Covid-19, many are offering online shopping, curbside pickup, and limited occupancy shopping for mask wearing customers. They can order hard to get books, offer gifting ideas and provide signed copies of select books, especially those of local writers. Support indie book shops so that they will be in business post pandemic. Explore the websites or call these independent bookstores and patronize them at this difficult time. We are almost through this pandemic! We can help our book stores and they can help us.
