Downtown Falmouth centers around a busy Main St. lined with clothing boutiques, gift and home decor shops, and Cousins Bookstore. Patty Noonan Park on Main St. is the place to go for concerts and free movies in the summer. A half mile to Marine Park you can find a seasonal farmer's market and summer band concert. There are beautiful views of Falmouth Harbor, and a ferry to Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. A long walk or short drive to rocky Surf Drive Beach which has scenic views of Vineyard Sound. Downtown there are a variety of restaurants. A short walk from Main Street on Palmer Avenue brings you to Queens Buyway, a collection of shops and a cafe. They are close to the Inn on the Square and several B&B's. Nearby Woods Hole is home to the Oceanagraphic Institute and more ferries to Martha's Vineyard.
