Autumn in Narragansett, Rhode Island

Welcome to Scenic Shopping™ ! Our featured town this early Fall day is Narragansett, Rhode Island. Narragansett is a beautiful little town in southern RI. Located along the seacoast, the Pier has amazing vistas of Narragansett Bay, Jamestown and Newport in the distance. The pier area at Narragansett Town Beach has a small group of cute shops, boutiques and restaurants. The hustle bustle of summer has given way to the calm breezy pace of Autumn, and you can easily get a parking spot close to the shops or beach. Dog walkers abound on the beautiful long beach along with those looking for a little exercise while listening to the surf. Many of these stores will close for the winter though a few stay open on weekends to catch Fall visitors. Sales can be found as they clean out their summer inventory. Pier Marketplace is a great little spot to grab those fleeting warm days before the chill of late Fall.
